Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ
Membership in National LCMC organization and support for its program expenses
Beyond the River Academy
Educational program for clergy who want to become LCMC pastors
Family Renewal Shelter
Rescue services for victims of extreme life-threatening abuse
Pastor's Discretionary Fund
Allows the pastor to meet individual needs as they emerge in the course of ministry
Ashford First Baptist Food Bank
Church provides food to needy families around Ashford, a small rural community nearby.
St. Francis House
Provides a clothing bank and vouchers for other services (e.g., rent, meals) for needy in Pierce County
Shepherd's Hand
Christ Lutheran Church provides free medical and dental services and meals to needy around Whitefish, MT
Holy Disciples Food Bank
Local Catholic church provides food distribution in Graham and South Hill for needy
Freezing Nights
Support for local church-sponsored sleeping accommodations for homeless during cold nights
Tacoma/Pierce County Chaplaincy
Supports needs of first responders and victims of tragic circumstances.
Salvation Army-East Pierce County
Nationwide "Army of Hope" to provide charitable assistance and employment.
New LCMC Congregations
For support of new LCMC congregations as opportunities arise
Good Samaritan Chaplaincy
Providing supplies, etc., for chaplains and pastors at Good Samaritan Hospital   
CRU at Universities
Supports student programs (formerly Crusade for Christ) at universities.
Fisher House Foundation
Rockville, MD, organization provides help for military families including JBLM
SOLA Publishing
Publishes LCMC educational materials: e.g., "Core," "Word Alone," and Sunday School
WA Soldiers Home
Chaplaincy assistance to Orting facility for retired military veterans
Navigatiors Ministry at University
Support one-on-one student ministry at universities (Bethany Heaney at University of Nebraska)
Tacoma Seafarers Center
Provides pastoral care while in port to seagoing men and women and fishing fleet
Christian Appalachian Project
Support charity activities in depressed Appalachian region
