Sunday morning worship is at 9:30 AM at 10515 269th Street East, Graham, WA.  (click here for directions).

Services last 60-75 minutes.  Though the service is basically traditional in nature, the service usually incorporates a variety of musical genres in addition to choir anthems, a children's message, Bible readings, a sermon, and holy communion.

There is time for a fellowship after worship and before children go to Sunday School and adults go to their Bible study from 10:45-11:45 AM.

Come visit us at Living Word!  We were formed in 2009 as a new congregation of the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).  We strive to reach out to the Graham area and beyond with the love Jesus showed for us through His life, death, and resurrection.

The congregation is prayerfully expanding our ministries for children, youth, and adults.  Enjoy browsing our site and we hope you will join us for a service or event in the near future!

Where are worship services held?

Living Word worships at 10515 269th Street East, Graham, WA.  (click here for directions).

How long are your worship services?

A typical service lasts for 60-75 minutes.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever will make you most comfortable.  Worship attenders can be seen wearing everything from suits and ties to jeans and casual shirts.

What are services like?

Our Sunday morning services generally follow the outline of the historic liturgy and typically include congregational singing with piano, choir anthems, a children's sermon, a sermon based on the day's Bible readings, and the receiving of communion. After the service is a fellowship time with refreshments, followed by the option of attending a Bible study or children's Sunday school.

We try to make our services easy for everyone to follow.  Most of what you will say, sing, or do will be clear from the bulletin or program you receive when you arrive.  If you would like to see what the worship service looks like on paper, you can download one here.

What do you have for children?

We love having children at worship, and often have a brief children's time during the service.  But, we also understand that sometimes parents appreciate having an option.  For that reason, we also have a nursery available during the church service.

We have Sunday school following the 9:30 AM service (offered concurrently with adult Bible studies). Other children's events and opportunities, such as Vacation Bible School, are available throughout the year.  Click here for more information about our children's ministries.

What do you believe?

We profess our beliefs every week in the words of either the Apostles' Creed or the Nicene Creed:

I BELIEVE in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

I BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our LORD. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
