We Are Grounded in the Living Word!
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of the church’s proclamation, faith, and life. Therefore, study of God's Word is a priority at Living Word.
There are many Bible study offerings that facilitate relationships and growth in the Word. We encourage you to prayerfully consider which one or ones God has prepared for you.
Sunday School for Children
Worship starts at 9:00 AM, and Sunday school for children follows at 10:30-11:30 AM. "Begin with Jesus and Branch Out" is the theme for 2017-2018. With just a few exceptions, Sunday School classes are held weekly September through May.
Bible Studies for Adults
Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
There is a seat for you at any of the Bible studies listed!
Sunday Bible Study
We worship at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings, then we have coffee fellowship until 10:30 AM when Pastor Eric Hullstrom leads the adults through an hour of Bible study.
The studies for 2017-2018 include:
Discipleship -- Study of the Gospel of Matthew and The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Sunday morning Bible study usually meets weekly during the months of September through May, taking a break during the summer.
Wednesday Morning -- Living Way Bible Study
"a brilliant light"
"the soul's daily bread"
"can never be read too often or studied too much"
These are quotes from Martin Luther on Romans, the book of the Bible studied each week 9:30-11:00 AM at the Krumwiede home.
This letter was the source for Luther's rediscovery of the Gospel which powered the Reformation.
Wednesday Evening -- Living Way Bible Study
This class meets weekly at the church office 6:45-8:00 PM and is studying the book of Acts in 2017-2018.
